It is not yet on the market and only available as a pre-order. The Reevo from US company Beno (Be Innovative) is a very special e-bike indeed. Super fast, ultra modern design and... without spokes.

That in itself is quite a step in the world of cycling, but the Reevo has a lot more impressive features. Stealing the bike will already prove a daunting task. Not only do you have to start the bike with your fingerprint and you can track it via GPS. Furthermore, it is equipped with motion detection and an alarm to deter any thieves.

Super fast

Wearing a helmet is a good idea. The Reevo has a top speed of 40 km/h and a range of 60 kilometres on a single battery charge.

To make it all complete, the team at Beno has added automatic lights, a brake light and indicators. The bike weighs just under 25 kilos and has a 250W motor.

When Beno introduced the bike via a crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo, it raised more than a million dollars in a particularly short time. That was in November 2020. Now the counter stands at over 2.7 million. The bike can be pre-ordered. Delivery is expected from July 2021.
