Wearing clothing, backpacks or materials over a hi-viz safety vest is not allowed in many situations. But in practice, we see numerous examples where a fall harness is indeed worn over a safety vest. This is not strange, because under a vest, the rings of a harness cannot be used. Yet this hinders visibility. For this reason, Wiltec has introduced a safety vest with integrated drop harness for use with an H-design harness under the Miller brand.

Comfortable

The Miller H-design harness series is praised for the freedom of movement and comfort it gives to users in the construction, (petro)chemical and confined space industries, among others. Despite the fact that the bright green straps of this harness increase visibility, there are numerous situations where workers need to wear a hi-viz safety vest. This is where a special Miller safety vest now exists, available in both yellow and orange.

Fully equipped

A large zip on the inside allows the lining of the vest to be opened so that the harness can be fully integrated into the vest. Via the openings on the front and back, the attachment points of the fall harness can be used with external lifelines and fall blocks.

With double zips on both sides, there is always a comfortable fit for any body shape and when using both summer and winter clothing. As the vest is removable, it can be easily replaced or washed. With no less than five pockets, tools and accessories can be carried safely. In addition, a card holder is integrated for ID cards.

Safety standards

The vest complies with EN ISO 20471:2013 class 2 (high-visibility warning clothing) and EN ISO 13688:2013 (protective clothing) and is available in both hi-viz yellow and hi-viz orange.
