Hitma is organising the free webinar 'Correct flow measurement' about measuring air velocities in ducts of air treatment systems on 9 December from 10.00 to 11.00 hrs. In 60 minutes, participants will be updated online on how to reliably measure air flows to create an optimal and safe indoor climate with the lowest possible energy consumption. After the webinar, participants will know the steps to follow and the factors to consider for reliable measurement results.

Consequences of faulty flow measurement

Hitma specialists Teun Mulder (HVAC instrumentation) and Marcel van Kesteren (Building Automation) will discuss the factors that make correct flow measurement difficult during the webinar. Incorrectly measuring air flows has adverse consequences, including unnecessarily high energy consumption and insufficient air exchange.

Correct flow measurement

During the webinar 'Correct flow measurement', participants will learn which environmental factors they need to take into account to achieve a reliable measurement. In addition, specialists Mulder and Van Kesteren explain which measuring methods are available. For each application, they explain which measuring principle is most suitable for the application in question. During the webinar and afterwards, there will be ample opportunity to ask questions.
