ESEF 2018 is coming up: from 20 to 23 March, the trade fair for the manufacturing industry will take place. In the run-up to this, we highlight a number of exhibitors using six short questions. This time, it is Boessenkool's turn.

1. What solutions do you have to offer ESEF visitors?

"We have many different solutions to offer visitors to ESEF. Among others, I would mention certified large/complex welding, large machining, carousel turning, boring, milling, drilling, machine building, flywheel technology for peakshaving and energy storage (1MW), aerosol recycling machine DeSpray, the electric tractor MultiToolTrac, a Mega drone, Drone4Emergency, Drone4Firefighting, Drone4Agro and Drone4Ma. So many different machines and devices."

2. Why should visitors really stop by your stand?

"I think it is useful for visitors to visit us because we can come up with a solution to almost every visitor's problem and then build and realise it. We will also showcase our latest innovations."

3. What has been your last investment and why?

"We recently invested in:
- Floortype milling machine 20 (L) x 6 (H) x 3 (W) metres
- Floortype milling machine 10 (L) x 3 (H) x 2 (W) metres
- Carousel bench diameter 5.5 metres x 4 metres high
- Hot wired TIG ETR cladding system
- Lifting capacity 120 tonnes
We have also committed to >15% turnover investment in R&D, we feel it is important to keep developing and be at the forefront."

4. How did you contribute to the customer's final product?

"That can be done in several ways. For example, we carry out single operations on customer request, but we can also enter into a turnkey contract with a customer and thus relieve him of all his worries."

5. What innovations and projects have you worked on recently?

"Recent projects we do take pride in are the Mega Drone, a new flywheel system, a recycling machine for spray cans, an electric tractor (the MultiToolTrac I mentioned earlier) and an optical measurement system."

6. How do you relieve your customer?

"Machinefabriek Boessenkool has also developed a practical approach in which three basic things play a leading role: craftsmanship, simply providing good solutions and the collaborative mentality of the pure co-maker. Because for our work, we want to be in top form all the time."
