The manufacturing industry is rapidly changing. For instance, the role of software in the production chain is greatly increasing in significance. Many companies are currently in a digital transformation. This transformation affects the entire process: from customer needs through design to the end user. The Business Software Event, which takes place tomorrow, pays attention to this.

The road to paperless working is not an easy one to walk. A smartphone or tablet is easy to buy, but requires training and a certain period of habituation. Not to mention links, integrations and all the security measures that need to be taken to keep out hackers. This requires a clear vision in the field of automating and improving business processes. The Business Software Event on 9 October 2018 highlights the latest software developments to help organisations in this transition, or road to Industry 4.0.

The Business Software Event is an independent knowledge event where everything revolves around software for the (manufacturing) industry. Supporting (manufacturing) industrial companies in the digital transformation is central to this: from working on paper to working digitally. After all, this transformation does not always come easily. Reversing internal perceptions and initiating the transition process, for instance, is quite a challenge. And besides process improvement, automation must also be given a chance to find the right solution. This requires experience, both in implementing customised and off-the-shelf software. During the Business Software Event, tools will be provided by both software specialists and experience experts who will share their success stories and tips.

Several exhibitors will be present on the show floor. In addition, there are several speakers who will highlight a particular topic within Industry 4.0. The full programme can be viewed here.

A visit to the Business Software Event is free for end users. For (software) suppliers, system integrators or consultants, participation is € 375,- p.p. excluding VAT.
