Teqnow and ESEF Maakindustrie 2024 help you on your way to smart manufacturing

The Making Industry Future Arena at ESEF Making Industry 2024, in combination with three different Guided Tours, offers visitors insight into smart manufacturing and improving business processes with data. Each of the Guided Tours will be preceded by an introduction by Paul d'Hond, programme manager Teqnow at Koninklijke Metaalunie.

Rabobank recently pointed out: the competitive position of the Dutch manufacturing industry is coming under pressure due to an ageing population. Especially in the high-tech industry, the shortage of technical professionals is an ever-increasing problem that is affecting the sector. Manufacturing smarter and improving processes with data are two solutions that manufacturing companies can use to tackle this problem.

Teqnow presentation and Guided Tours mainly provide practical tools
During ESEF Maakindustrie 2024 in Utrecht, three different Guided Tours are scheduled to inform manufacturing companies about innovations in the field of smarter manufacturing and data use, as well as show practical examples from exhibitors at the fair. The first Guided Tour - A good start is half the battle - is aimed at work planners and managers. It focuses on the question of how to start improving processes. The second Guided Tour - Smart and manageable production - is also aimed at this target group. It covers aspects such as pre-setting, quality control, intermediate storage, transport and how to effectively manage these steps in the process to achieve a manageable and reproducible process. As with the first Guided Tour, participants will visit a number of practical examples on the exhibition floor after Paul d'Hond's presentation.

Using data for process improvement
The third Guided Tour is specifically aimed at directors and executives of SME aftermarket companies. Improving your business process with data revolves around how to collect and analyse the right data to underpin process improvement steps. With data, companies make the next step towards smart industry. This Guided Tour is also mainly about practically usable information, which will be covered not only by Paul d'Hond in his presentation but also by the exhibitors on the exhibition floor.

All three Guided Tours will start in the Making Industry Future Arena at ESEF. KIik here for details on the times. And you can register for a free ticket to ESEF Maakindustrie 2024 via this link.
