On 3 June, an online meeting will be organised for sector managers of Koninklijke Metaalunie and business development manager of FME to catch up on current developments in the Circular Manufacturing Industry implementation programme.

This will logically focus on developments and prospects surrounding the corona crisis. In a 1.5-hour slot, the following questions, among others, will be discussed: how can a circular approach get companies out of the corona crisis better, how do large clients look at circularity in their chain and how can you use circular entrepreneurship to tackle bottlenecks in your sector? It also discusses the programme itself and whether it matches member demand.

Koninklijke Metaalunie and FME, together with the Ministry of Economic Affairs, RVO and other partners have been working on the roll-out of the Circular Manufacturing Industry programme for a while now. In November last year, for instance, the website circulairemaakindustrie.nl/en was launched and there are various events and training courses to prepare companies for a circular chain.
