Nederland Maakt - the chain event for entrepreneurs in the manufacturing industry - will take place on Wednesday 2 October at the Basilica in Veenendaal. The event aims to inspire, but also to give entrepreneurs practical tools to look at their daily practice through different glasses. To spot more opportunities. And also to make better use of these opportunities. To collaborate more and smarter in the chain. And to connect the chain.

NEVAT, FEDET, FPT-VIMAG, VNMI and FME joined forces to organise this first edition. On the themes of People | Data | Technology, the chain partners have shared problems, but at least as many shared opportunities.

Visitors will get answers to pressing questions such as: Where are new opportunities in technology, data and the role of humans in this? What can, or no, 'must' I immediately do to keep up in this rapidly changing society? How do I stay afloat in this continuous rat race? How can chain cooperation help me?

The programme is taking shape. We already have a sneak preview.

Randall van Poelvoorde, entrepreneur and technology expert, focuses on the impact of technology on jobs and tasks. What effect do your choices have on your staff? How can I innovate and include my people in that development? Besides a short, engaging presentation, Randall will mainly use his time to answer entrepreneurial questions from the audience. You will be given practical tools you can use to get started right away.

TedEx speaker Frans Feldberg, professor of Data Driven Business Innovation at the Free University, explains how organisations can exploit opportunities and create value with data. What are the opportunities to improve existing business models and develop new data-driven business models? Is there anything left to choose? Inspiring examples support his story.

During the networking dinner, Richard van Hooijdonk, well-known trend watcher, will bring together the elements of the themes in his key note. What is the impact of new technology on the way we live, work and do business? And what does this mean for the Dutch Manufacturing Industry?

In addition to the above speakers, the programme will of course be further expanded with speakers and interactive elements.

At the Nederland Makes Innovation Square, participants will have ample opportunity to generate new business directly or broaden and strengthen their own network during the various networking moments. The networking dinner with the key note is a fixed part of the programme.
