After the Netherlands and Germany, Sustainder is expanding its product and service offering to Central and Eastern Europe,. A large-scale smart lighting project will soon start in Kladno, Czech Republic.

The project includes the installation of Sustainder's smart LED luminaires Anne and Alexia and will be carried out by a strong local partner, active in the CEE region, to ensure a solid market approach. "Besides the Kladno municipality, there is a great need for future-proof solutions in this region. Our local partner knows the market very well and offers support in the transition to smart. Thanks to a unique cassette system, connectivity and open architecture, Sustainder luminaires are already ready for future developments," says Niek de Jong, CEO of Sustainder.

Future-proof solutions

Sustainder luminaires are widely applicable and can be linked online to any local back office system via an API, making them remotely manageable and controllable. All luminaires are based on a modular design and feature basic sensor technologies that enable measurement of temperature, light sensitivity and energy consumption, among others. In this way, Sustainder helps build a sustainable, safe and healthy society. The video below (click on the image) introduces the different luminaires.

Sustainder's modular concept offers an attractive proposition for municipalities looking to switch to smart city solutions. This makes Sustainder a suitable partner to start the discussion on replacement, sustainability and smart public lighting, as well as future-proof solutions and smart city ambitions. By joining the CEE region, Sustainder strengthens its international ambitions and objective to be among the top five market players.
