TechiShow the trade fair for manufacturing technology, shifts to 30 August to 2 September 2022. The Federation Manufacturing Technology (FPT-VIMAG), owner of the TechniShow, and the Royal Jaarbeurs as organiser have decided to do so in close consultation. ESEF Maakindustrie, the trade fair for engineering, product development and subcontracting, will also shift to these dates. Both exhibitions were scheduled for March 2022, but due to the long delivery times of machines combined with the uncertainty about the duration of the government's current COVID-19 measures, this decision has already been taken now.

André Gaalman, president of FPT-VIMAG: "FPT-VIMAG has been organising a successful TechniShow for its members and the industry for 65 years. In 2022, we will do so again, taking into account government regulations and safety of our people."

Albert Arp, CEO of the Royal Jaarbeurs: "We noticed too much uncertainty in the market about the TechniShow and the ESEF Maakindustrie in March given the long delivery times for the exhibitions. Fortunately, we can move well to a date in autumn 2022. Both sectors are really on the rise and really want to see each other live again given the huge opportunities in the sector. With the relocation, we certainly have more guarantee that we can put on a show where everything can be properly admired and the good conversation can also take place in a casual way."

ESEF Manufacturing

ESEF Maakindustrie is also shifting to 30 August to 2 September 2022.

Richard Schuitema of the Koninklijke Metaalunie: "Taking the decision now to move the ESEF Maakindustrie and TechniShow shows realism and also courage. At the same time, it gives more certainty to the exhibitors that they will be able to safely participate in the fair and receive their relations at a later date."

Through the websites of both fairs, www.technishow.nl and www.maakindustrie.nl/en, is obtaining information for exhibitors and visitors on how the trade fair organisers are facilitating the shift.

The Jaarbeurs, in close consultation with the authorities, considers for each fair or event whether it can safely take place. More information on what the Jaarbeurs is doing in this area can be found at www.jaarbeurs.nl/veilig.
