In 2026, ESEF Maakindustrie and Technishow were once again the beating heart of the manufacturing industry. At these leading events, you discovered the latest technologies, smart solutions and ground-breaking innovations that are preparing the industry for the future. Centrally on the exhibition floor, you will find four theme squares, each highlighting a current and strategically important topic. On this page, we highlight the FPT Factory of the Future square.

Predictable manufacturing in an integrated factory.
What if production was not only smarter and more sustainable, but also predictable? At the FPT Factory of the Future Square during TechniShow 2026, you saw how digitalisation, automation and data integration come together in a fully working the production environment.
22 technology companies, united within FPT, jointly present an integrated shopfloor in which two manufacturing companies and their suppliers work together. Machines, robots, software and skilled workers are connected in real time. Data flows through the entire chain and is directly used for planning, execution, quality assurance, maintenance and insight into material and energy consumption.
The Factory of the Future shows that it is not single technology, but chain integration that makes the difference. Smartly connecting existing machines and IT systems creates higher delivery reliability, shorter lead times, stable quality and less waste. This makes predictable production a solid basis for sustainable and future-proof growth.
The demonstration is practical and modular. From digital work preparation and in-process measurement to autonomous loading, tool management and predictable maintenance. Visitors will see concrete solutions that can be applied step by step in their own production environment.
Inspired by the success of EMO Hannover 2025 and TechniShow 2024, leading companies such as DMG MORI, FANUC, TRUMPF, Okuma, HEIDENHAIN, Renishaw, Mitutoyo and SCHUNK will show how collaboration across brands and disciplines leads to a working factory of tomorrow.
Experience how predictable manufacturing is already a reality today.
