ESEF Maakindustrie 2024 with focus on sustainable and innovative manufacturing solutions
From 12 to 15 March, Royal Jaarbeurs will open its doors for ESEF Maakindustrie. With the theme 'The manufacturability of tomorrow', over 175 exhibitors will show how the manufacturing industry deals with topics such as digitalisation, robotisation and sustainability. Ricardo Vivas, fair manager ESEF: "This edition we offer a packed programme, from presentations on the latest technologies and innovations to knowledge sessions on the challenges in the labour market. Tens of thousands of professionals and other interested parties within the manufacturing industry can prepare for an inspiring fair." ESEF takes place simultaneously with the TechniShow trade fair.
Focus on a sustainable futureThe manufacturability of tomorrow will take centre stage at ESEF. Ricardo Vivas: "While the labour market faces major challenges due to automation, digitalisation is transforming the entire manufacturing industry with loT and AI. In addition, sustainability is becoming crucial with a focus on green manufacturing and recycling. All kinds of important themes that we will reflect in the various activities of the fair. For instance, we are setting up the so-called Future Arena for knowledge sessions on energy consumption, robotisation and chain integration, among others. In addition, we are setting up a 'career street' on the exhibition floor where visitors can get inspiration on staff advancement and development."Deep dive into latest technologies and innovationsAt the trade fair, experts from Teqnow Koninklijke Metaalunie will provide theme tours for visitors. Professionals will get insights into improving business processes through data. In addition, visitors get explanations on how to achieve a manageable, reproducible and error-free production process. Ricardo Vivas: "I look forward to welcoming all experts from the manufacturing industry to Jaarbeurs. The upcoming edition promises to be a unique opportunity for professionals to meet, exchange ideas and discover the latest developments in the manufacturing industry."'Make' and 'buy' under one roofESEF takes place at the same time as the trade fair TechniShow. The strength of this combination is that it brings 'make' and 'buy' under one roof. Together, ESEF Maakindustrie and TechniShow form the largest platform in the Benelux in the field of industrial production technology, processing and treatment of metals, plastics, accessories and tools. This is the stage where business, research, education and government meet, for demonstrations, innovations and networking moments. "Visitors are therefore very welcome to visit both trade fairs in order to achieve a perfect combination of 'make and buy' solutions," explains Ricardo Vivas.
